Arboretum - Makers of HyperPrism, a cool DSP filtering and sound-processing utility.

Bias Systems - Makers of Peak, a hot new digital audio recording program for the Macintosh. (See my review in the August 1996 issue of Macworld.)

DAW-Mac - This site is devoted to Mac-based digital audio workstations. Subscribe to vendor-specific mailing lists, link to sites containing sound samples and equipment price lists, and much more.

Deck II tips -- An unofficial site devoted to Macromedia's Deck II multitrack recording software. John Fleck also maintains a Deck II page. (For official info on Deck II, see Macromedia's Deck II page.)

Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics - The legendary CCRMA, from Stanford University. Check out their ftp server for interesting sound- and music-related software and publications.

Digidesign - Learn about the Pro-Tools III system, Audiomedia III, and and other Digi products. (You'll find more info in my December 1995 Macworld feature on digital audio.)

Massey Publishing - Lance Massey publishes an interesting program called SoundMorph. You can learn about it on his site and download a demo version.

Mark of the Unicorn - One of the leading developers of music and sound products, including Digital Performer, which lets you record, edit, and play both MIDI data and digital audio.

Opcode Systems - Another leading developer of music and sound products, including Studio Vision, which lets you record, edit, and play both MIDI data and digital audio. The Opcode Links page contains links to various major music artists, music and audio dealers, numerous record labels, music and audio newsgroups, and more.

Progressive Networks - Makers of the RealAudio technology, which provides real-time audio streaming over the Internet.
