One of the things that sets my "Macworld New Complete Mac Handbook" apart from any other general Mac book is its art. The book contains dozens of drop-dead gorgeous illustrations by Macworld's award-winning Senior Designer, Arne Hurty.

Thanks to Macromedia's Shockwave for FreeHand technology, I can put some examples of the book's illustrations right here on Heidsite. And that's what I've done in this introduction to MIDI, an excerpt from Chapter 21 of the Mac Handbook.
