Hi. I'm Jim Heid and I'm a writer and media producer. Between 1984 and 2009, I wrote for magazines and newspapers, including Macworld magazine and the Los Angeles Times. I also wrote many books. I was a senior content strategist and instructor at lynda.com and LinkedIn Learning. I was also the editorial lead for 30 Web Design World conferences, a pioneering learning event for web designers. I'm an obsessed amateur photographer who lives with his spectacular wife and five dogs and fourteen chickens.
